Buddy Russell,

C.O.M.T., L.D.O., FCLSA, NCLE-M, ABOC, FSLS

Buddy has had his license since 1981 as a Dispensing Optician in the State of Tennessee. He has worked with hard in the field and received many titles, affiliations, certificates, memberships and awards/honors for his service in the field of opticianry. He has been teaching lectures since 1985 starting with “Tennessee Ophthalmology Personnel Society, Knoxville, TN “Contact Lens Fitting Following Radial Keratotomy””. Since then, he has continued to expand his lectureships to encompass a variety of classes including “Can Contact Lens Control Myopia”, “Scleral Lens Fitting and Troubleshooting”, “How to Use Topography in a Contact Lens Practice”, and “Fitting Children; Getting It Right”

Judith Lew,

Professional Development Director-Opticianry, Essilor of America

Judy Lew has spent over 40 years in the industry, starting as an opticianry graduate at Ferris University in Michigan. As the Professional Development Director at Essilor, her primary focus is to support the optician schools and associations throughout the United States. Judy is a Florida licensed optician/ABO certified, board member for the National Opticians Association (NAO) and a commissioner for the Commission on Opticianry Accreditation (COA). She currently resides in St. Petersburg, Fl with her husband Alan.
